Overview
Jessica Davis is a Trial Attorney with the Ponist Law Group. She is an experienced litigator in criminal and civil matters. She has a background in private criminal defense, as well as with federal agencies, including the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Homeland Security. She supports the firm’s real estate, business and white collar litigation. She has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, and named in SacTown Magazine’s “Top Lawyers 2024.”
Jessica has been a litigator since 2018. She began her litigation experience as criminal defense attorney, predominately defending clients facing major felony charges. Her experience includes representing clients in felony and misdemeanor trials, securing multiple favorable verdicts; drafting and arguing critical motions including Romero motions, motions to suppress evidence, and motions to dismiss; and managing her previous firm’s post-conviction relief practice. Since joining the Ponist Law Group, she has effectively parlayed those valuable litigation and trial skills into the civil arena.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys traveling for scuba diving, martial arts, and volunteering with Georgetown’s Alumni Admissions Program.
